Something True is an ode to summer nights spent on the beach. Tenise and Maddisun were inspired to write this song after their beloved homelands in the Kootenays.
Both have so many memories of playing music on the beach, and spending time with their loved ones.
The song is written for all new lovers, those looking for magical and inspiring experiences, and those who just love the feeling of a summer night spent on the beach.
The title “Something True” comes from searching for true and honest experiences to share with others, and always staying true to oneself.

Maddisun and Tenise Marie are both very unique and talented voices. They combine their styles to form this beautiful piece of soulful, connected music.
Tenise and Maddisun retreated to the off grid Sincerity Sound studio in Winlaw, BC and spent two days recording in the mountains.
The track features Matt Kelly (City and Colour) on pedal steel.

There is also a live acoustic music video filmed on the river, that really sets a mood for this song.
